The FDS is a fully functioning Inventory management solution. Engineers add all parts used in the specific repair and the inventory automatically makes the adjustment, if stock is low a trigger email will be sent to purchasing for a request for restock with the exact part number required.
Our hosted solution, is preloaded with your entire spare parts catalogue, stock volume, customer price, Buy price mfg part number etc... So when the engineer adds the part from within the work order, it automatically makes the necessary stock adjustment, and adds the information to that particular work order, which is then automatically passed through to the final repair report/invoice.
The engineer doesn't even have to change screens, they can add the information from within the work order itself, they can even request a purchase of first time buy components, information that will email directly to the purchasing dept.
